Personal AccidentPersonal Accident Insurance Policy provides benefit to the insured person upon his death or disablement as a result of an accident. Many Personal Accident Insurance Policies available in the market provides other additional benefits such as Hospital Cash Allowance either as optional benefit of the policy or as added value.

Personal Accident Insurance is designed to provide a lump sum benefit in the event of the insured sustaining a permanent disability, hospitalisation or death as a result of an accident.

What benefit is payable?
Benefits are payable for:

  • Permanent total disability
  • Loss of sight in one or both eyes
  • Loss of use of one or two limbs
  • Loss of speech
  • Loss of hearing in one or both ears
  • Loss of use of:
    • a shoulder or elbow
    • a hip, knee, ankle, wrist or thumb
    • any finger or big toe
  • Hospitalisation
  • Accidental death
